Tube Bonding
PlasticWeld’s proprietary HPS series induction tube bonders are used to seamlessly bond two pieces of tubing together. Specially designed forming tools bond the tubes together while contouring the OD of your tubing to match your desired configuration. Tubes of different sizes and cross sections can be joined.

Note, tube polymers must be compatible

Soft Tips
PlasticWeld’s proprietary HPS series induction tip formers are used to bond soft tip tubing onto the main catheter tubing. Specially designed forming tools bond the tubes while contouring the OD and tip of your tubing to match your desired configuration. Both open and closed ends can be formed.

Specifications

Tube size range 1 fr (0.013” OD) and higher

Maximum formed tip length: 2” – dependent on polymer and tube size

Configurations: butt joint, overlap joint

Polymers: PVC, PTFE, PA, PP, PE, PEEK, EVA, PU

Note, soft tip and catheter tube polymers must be compatible
